Let’s take a look at what Arman and Eric have up for auction!
Want a piece of ‘Terrace House‘ memorabilia? Well, former Japanese Netflix stars got you covered cause they’re auctioning off Arman Bitaraf‘s old surfboard repurposed into a coffee table by Eric De Mendonca!
The two ‘Terrace House’ stars got together recently to build a DIY surfboard coffee table, and they’re auctioning it off on YouTube Live on June 18 in Hawaii at 5 PM and on June 19 in Japan at 12 PM.
For those of you who don’t know, Arman was an aspiring firefighter during the ‘Boys & Girls in the City,’ and Eric was a carpenter on ‘Aloha State.’ It’s nice to see that Arman took Han-San‘s insightful advice … “Live life as the happy man you are.” Arman’s raggedy hair and fashion sense really show that he’s living that life.
Arman & Eric cracked open some Hawaiian beers using the bottle opener attached to the tail of the handmade board … and they began to commentate and crtique on the sample interior and exterior design layouts featuring the sporty furniture.
They continued by discussing the price of the starting bid … which had to factor in the initial $700 Arman spent on the board, along with Eric’s upcycled wood and 3-day labor. They thought $1k would’ve been a solid deal for the setup, but decided to start the auction at $300. Make sure not to sleep on the auction cause Arman joked he’d buy it for $320 if no one bid on it.
As for Eric’s ‘Aloha State’ costar, Lauren Tsai, she’s definitely been active in her industry … by hosting a drawing session with Marc Jacobs and also by giving back to Black Lives Matter initiatives.
