Kanye West x Kid Cudi x Takashi Murakami collab?!? Check out the teaser trailer!
As Kanye West announced his 10-year partnership with GAP, he and Kid Cudi released a teaser trailer for their upcoming animated show … “KIDS SEE GHOSTS.”
Kid Cudi shared the first trailer of the Takashi Murakami-directed show Friday … with Kanye voicing Kanye Bear and Cudi voicing Kid Fox. The three collabed back in 2018 on the “KIDS SEE GHOSTS” album with Murakami being responsible for the cover art.
Kanye Bear might seem familiar for long-time Kanye fans since he also appeared on the “Graduation” album cover and also in the music video for “Good Morning,” but the animated bear actually originated from Kanye’s Dropout Bear character … which was used on “The College Dropout” & “Late Registration” cover arts.
The trailer didn’t reveal the premiere date or which streaming services it will be available on … but be sure to be on the lookout as Cudi did say it’s “coming soon.”
As for Kanye, he announced on Twitter a new 10-year partnership between YEEZY and GAP with the launch of a new clothing line called YEEZY GAP. The collection will be releasing in 2021 with “modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at accessible price points.”
Also, Murakami’s been making recycled coffee filter prints during the lockdown, while Kanye’s been contributing to Black Lives Matter initiatives.
