Hello Kitty x Takashi Murakami?!?
Takashi Murakami is back again with another project … and this time, it’s with Hello Kitty!!!
The Japanese contemporary artist has been teasing projects left and right during the COVID-19 pandemic. On Wednesday, Murakami shared a photo of what he’s been working on with Sanrio and you have to say … it’s pretty kawaii.
The image shows Hello Kitty sitting back to back with a tweaked version of his Panda character. He made sure to include his iconic flower as well.
And, when we said he’s back again with another project, we mean it because the man has been workin’ hard during the quarantine.
Takashi recently worked on iced-out pendants with celeb jeweler Ben Baller to celebrate Reggaeton superstar J Balvin‘s album.
Not too long before that, the “KIDS SEE GHOSTS” animation series’ trailer was released, which Kanye West, Kid Cudi and Murakami are all working on.
And … that’s just to name a few.
