It’s Murakami’s first stab at ceramic pottery and he’s this good?!?
Takashi Murakami is known worldwide for his contemporary art … but this time he tapped into an unfamiliar territory of his … CERAMICS POTTERY!!!
The Japanese artist — who’s widely known for his iconic flower art and his extensive work with Louis Vuitton — recently connected with ceramic artist Shin Murata from Tonari no Murata.
He attempted to take a stab at making clay pots which he’s never done before … and we have to say, it came out great.

As we mentioned previously, Murakami has been going at it during the quarantine. He recently teased a collab with Sanrio‘s Hello Kitty, worked with Ben Baller on J Balvin’s iced-out chain and dropped a trailer to the “KIDS SEE GHOSTS” animated series with Kanye West and Kid Cudi.
Wonder what he’s gonna tease next!
