KAWS is back with another “SEEING” BFF LED Figure!!!
KAWS is back again with another collaboration with AllRightsReserved!!
Back in 2018, the New York artist and designer teamed up with the Hong Kong-based creative studio to create an indoor light called “SEEING.”
The piece featured KAWS’ iconic blue BFF figurine — which looks like a revamped version of Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster. The light-up statue was limited to just 250 editions … with each priced at $12,000 USD.
This time, KAWS and AllRightsReserved revealed a similar lamp, but in pink. There will only be 150 of these made, so make sure you sign up for the raffle through AllRightsReserved’s DDTStore between July 19 6 PM PST and July 20 3 AM PST.
Winners will be alerted via email on or by July 23.
Don’t get your hopes up if you’re broke … because you still have to cough up a lotta dough to buy the rare artwork.
As for the other famous artists and designers in the industry — Takashi Murakami recently attempted ceramic pottery for his first time and NIGO actually showed off some vintage pieces which KAWS may have worked on.
