Collectible bear-shaped figure going for over $3k?!?
Medicom Toy is not letting the quarantine slow down their release schedule — this time partnering with mastermind JAPAN and Karimoku!
The Japanese toy company first introduced the BE@RBRICK in 2001. These cute bear figurines have caught the attention of celebrities like Ben Baller — collector of some of the rarest ones. They have even done collabs with notable artists and designers such as Pharrell and NIGO.

With the help of Karimoku — which specializes in Japanese wooden furniture — this upcoming release will all be individually handmade and crafted with walnut wood. And, of course, we can’t forget about mastermind JAPAN’s iconic skull and crossbones logo etched into the bear’s chest.
The wooden bear will be available only in 400% (11 inch) on August 1 — exclusively sold on the toy company’s website for 360,000 yen or 3,410 USD.
